Editorial selection
Independent listings and guides are selected for relevance to Southwest Missouri. Inclusion is not a ranking, inspection, guarantee of quality or claim of a personal visit. We favor official, attributable sources and record when information was checked.
Corrections
Report a correction with the page name, the detail that changed and a supporting source. The publisher reviews changes before updating the site.
Free and paid listings
A free listing does not require payment. A paid directory placement must display “Advertisement · Featured listing” wherever it appears. Payment never changes the description of an independent listing without review.
Sponsorships
A sponsorship identifies the paying business in a distinct unit labeled “Advertisement” or “Section sponsor.” Sponsorship does not give an advertiser control over independent coverage.
Sponsored content
Paid articles and their cards must be labeled “Sponsored content” and name the paying business. Commercial claims require support. Paid links use the sponsored relationship attribute. Sponsored content is kept out of independent recommendation rankings.
No implied relationships
Current editorial listings and event entries are unpaid. A business appearing here is not necessarily a customer or partner. Sponsors of third-party events are not automatically sponsors of Ozarks Field Guide.
